oJun is a University student who has recently switched from full-time to part-time schooling. He is a young trans man who has been socially transitioned for the past few years, starting right after high school. He has dyed maroon hair with streaks of black, which are actually the roots of his real hair growing out.
Jun lives with his mother, Fumi, and his 7 year old little sister, Mari. Jun's father passed away when he was very young, and Mari is the result of his mother's relationship with his stepfather, Sam. Jun and Sam get along very well; however, Sam has been in a weakened, tired state that has been getting progressively worse in recent months, and has begun to withdraw from his work and his family.
Recently, Jun has taken on more responsibility and become a more paternal figure to his little sister. This is why he ended up going part-time with schooling, and has tried to focus more of his energy towards making money to support the family and hanging out with/babysitting his sister.
The gravity of the situation and his responsibilities have a tendency to weigh Jun down, but he has always done his best to hide it under a mask of cheerful energy and overall goofiness. He was the class clown, one who appears not to take things seriously and always tries to make others laugh. This is also a big component of his relationship with Mari, as he places a great deal of importance on hiding his stress and worry from her so it doesn't affect her. He tries to make her laugh and entertain her as much as possible, to take her mind off the family's troubles.
This is why his magical boy transformation is jester-themed. He is also more honest with his feelings in this form, as well as more confident. While in everyday life Jun wears baggy clothes and layers to obscure his body and draw little attention to himself, his transformed self is comfortable in his flamboyance and theatricality.
